Almost 75,000 visitors came to the 2010 Bolton Food and Drink Festival. This year's festival will be bigger and better and plans have now been confirmed for 2011 :
- Free speciality market in Victoria Square in Bolton town centre with over 70 stalls
- Cookery marquee with live demos from celebrity chefs Hairy Bikers (Saturday 27th August), Gino D Acampo (Sunday 28th August) and James Martin (Monday 29th August). Demonstrations cost £5 per person and take place at 11am, 1pm and 3pm each day.
- Free cookery demonstrations by celebrity chef Michael Caines (Friday 26th August) and talented local and regional chefs (all four days)
- Free entertainment including music and street theatre
- Easy coach drop off and pick up adjacent to festival site
- Free long stay coach parking in Bolton town centre
- Close proximity to other attractions including the Fred Dibnah Heritage Centre, Bolton Market and shops in Bolton town centre if your group wanted to visit somewhere else on the same day.
