Buxton & The Pavilion Gardens
There's an enjoyable scenic drive via Goyt's Moss and
the famous Cat & Fiddle road with the highest pub above sea
level in England. We eventually make our way to the historic
spa town of Buxton. We stop for afternoon tea at the Pavilion
Gardens, there is a wide selection of food at great value for
money. There are also plenty of shops including the old roman
baths which is now the "Cavendish Arcade" altogether Buxton is
a beautiful and relaxing day out and we could only finish the
day by returning home via Peak Dale and
Chapel-en-le-Frith.
