23rd July 2011 in Westhoughton, Bolton. We
hired a vintage double decker bus and I would

helpful and also comment on how well the
bus was presented inside and out, it was nicely
decorated and we got good feedback from so many
guests about the standard of the bus. It was

A big thanks to the staff at Belle Vue following our
recent trip to Llandudno (Sat 3rd Sept, from
Levenshulme)
Despite the drizzle, the Churches Together group had a
good day out.
This was partly due to Phil, an excellent driver who
gave a really smooth ride.
He was very helpful, approachable & professional -
which was most appreciated by the group
as the trip organiser wasn't able to come along on the
day.
The only negative comment was that there wasn't much
leg room.
We hope to use your services again for next year's
annual day out.

I just wanted to say a big Thank You for an excellent
service we received on our day out to Alton Towers on Sunday.
The coach was immaculate and our driver for the day (Lewis) was
extremely professional and helpful. We're all working on the
Mamma Mia! International Tour at the Palace Theatre, so our one
day off a week is special for us and Belle Vue helped to make
this weeks an extra special one. With a few more days off in

Hi John,
Just wanted to give you a bit of positive feedback on
our trip that we went to today. Our driver, Mike Harrison, was
extremely helpful and friendly. He introduced himself to all
the residents and was very patient. One of our group was in a
wheelchair, in our experience many drivers see this as an
inconvenience however Mike went out of his way to ensure our
resident felt comfortable and welcome, and assisted her in and
out of her chair. Emily was delighted with how he was with her
(I believe she even sneaked in a kiss on his cheek) and we all
had a laugh.
Mike arrived early and was more than happy to wait
until we were ready to board the bus, similarly he allowed us
to call him when we were ready to leave and arrived promptly.
This is essential flexibility with our residents as they can
tire very quickly or become confused if things do not flow
easily.
All the residents and staff agreed that Mike was a
pleasure to have as a driver and that he made our trip so much
more enjoyable. In addition the vehicle was extremely clean and
we were very happy with it. We fully intend to use your service
again in the future.

Talbot Hotel in Southport yesterday.
We had a warm welcome, Gilbert the Manager boarded the coach
and welcomed everyone to the hotel.
I was shown where to seat my party and as to where the bar was
situated. (Most important..Haha)
The room was set out very well in true British style, the meal
and entertainment was excellent from start to finish
the party had a truly memorable day.

Hope you & the guys in the cycling
team are all well.
Just a bit of an update on what we've
done with some of the money you raised for the Gorton Day
Centre. We found a really good website that sells games &
activities for older ladies & gentlemen with dementia. The
activities are devised to encourage our clients to reminisce.
With dementia & alzheimers it's the short term memory that
is affected, the long term memory is still there but just needs
a little stimulation which is exactly what these games &
activities do.
I can't begin to tell you how much fun
we've had & just as an example:
During one of our reminiscing sessions,
one of our shorter ladies told us how one young man used
to bring a biscuit tin with him so she could stand on it while
they were courting!!! She had us in stitches.
Let us know when you're going to visit
& we'll make sure we're using some of this new equipment so
you can see the difference it's made to us all.

to Rob, I have organised eight day trips over the summer period
for children with disabilities and their families. We
have used Belle Vue coaches for all the trips and have received

trips taking place. All the drivers we have had have done
an excellent job and have helped to make each trip special for
the children and families attending. They don't often get
the opportunity to spend quality time together due to the
additional needs of the children. We would especially

was great and very comfortable. Martin the driver was
excellent with our group and very attentive to the needs

Windemere.
Unfortunatley the weather was awful and the trip could have
been a disaster. However, the coach driver (I think his name is
Ian) was universally praised by all the pensioners for his
efferts to save the day. He was extremely helpful and as one of

Hi Phil,

we received from your driver, Barry, on our recent trip to the
Team Tourist Direct event in Cork.
Despite bad weather both ways, Dublin rush hour traffic
and atrocious sign posting (or lack of) Barry was a rock
being on time on all occasions and always pleasant, helpful and
efficient.
I think that one of the reasons that a trip such as this
remains a pleasant memory is because that even if things are
going slightly off plan it never impinges on the group
enjoyment and certainly this is due to people like Barry who
never allow circumstances to dicate to them or detract from
everybodys pleasure.
I hope that Barry didnt find us too much of a pain and would
request that if we tour again could we please have Barry to
drive us.

Apologies for a delay in this feedback, but I would
like to express my thanks and gratitude to your driver Chris
who escorted us down to Weymouth between the 9th and
13th April.
Chris's work ethic and understanding throughout the four
days was superb, always prompt and very flexible to accommodate
our lateness! He Regularly went the extra mile to make my life
easier, one night he even got a taxi up to our location to
update us on the state of play for the lift later in the
evening.
The feedback I have recieved from the group has been
magnificant, with Chris being seen as one of the group rather
than just the coach driver. I believe with these trips, it is
easy to get impatient with people (due to the nature of the
trip), but Chris was always calm and professional.
I am unfortunatley not organising the tour next year, but am
hopeful that we will be going again to Weymouth. In preparation
for this, I have recommended Belle Vue Coaches and Chris
for the trip.

Dear sir,
I was part of a group that went in a coach driven by Mike
Harrison to Iona from 16 to 22 October, and I wish to record my
high opinion of Mike as a driver. He was persistently friendly
and obliging, and willing to do everything he was asked to do
make the journey as pleasant for eveyone as he could. During
the time he was with us he became in effect part of the
group.
Even more important than that, he handled the coach
extremely well under difficult circumstances - by that I
mean the very narrow roads and bridges we encountered on the
Isle of Mull. I was also impressed by his patience and
thoughtfulness to other road users. Most roads on mull are
single- track with passing places and his willingnes to hold
back at a passing place to let oncoming drivers through was
exemplary. I don't think I would have been as patient as
he was!

employee, Sam Nickson, Who Came to the rescue of one of our PE
staff and several students last Friday.
Your driver was travelling along the M60 towards the
Trafford Centre, when he passed our school mini bus which had
broken down and the teacher and students were stranded on the
hard shoulder.
Upon seeing the teacher's plight, your driver continued on
his journey dropping off his passengers at their destination.
the he returned and re-joined the motorway in order to assist
in transporting our students off the motorway to safety (in
fact, returning them to school).
On behalf of the teacher, the students and their parents, i
would like to commend his public spirited actions and thank him
most sincerely for his care and concern. I hope he will be
allowed to accept a small token of our thanks in the form of
the enclosed giftcard.

took our school to Manchester Airport on the 4th November 2010

Hello,
I am sending this e-mail to pass on our thanksto Rob, i have
organised eight day trips over the summer peiod for children
with disabilities and their families. We have used Belle Vue
coaches for all the trips and have recieved a first class
service from the booking stage right up to trips taking place.
all the drivers we have had have done an excellent job and hae
helped to make each trip special for the children and families
attending. They don't often the oppertunity to spend quaility
time together due to the additional needs of children. We would
especially like to pass on our thanks to Rob who went the extra
mile to ensure that a good time was ahd by all. He was
professional and good humoured; pointing out landmarks and
interesting facts along the way. He was sensitive, enthusiastic
and friendly when dealing with our children and families.
Please pass our appreciation on to Rob and all the drivers and
staff at Belle Vue Coaches. We Will be recommending the company
to others and will definately book with you for any future
trips we organise.

experience last week. Everyone commented on how much they had

cheekiness and helpfulness just about right (although some of

elderly people in our group and, even thoughit took a long time
to get back to the collection points, he managed to cheer

With reference to the transport you provided for our school
trip Nottigham on the 1st December 2010.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to youe driver
(Ken) from allthe staff and young people here at New Bridge
school for getting us there and back in one piece.
The trip was arranged months ago however, the day was
probably the worst day of the year with the heaviest down pour
of snow we have seen and the journey to Nottigham taking a Long
6 hours. Ken's patience in getting us through the snow and
traffic was commendable and the young people thoroughly enjoyed
there day out regardless of the treacherous conditions.

Dear Ian,
Further to my 'Phone call to you on Wednesday' I would like
to put in writting how impressed all the staff were with your
driver Ian and Lewis on our trip to London on Tuesday. They
couldn't have been more accomodating to us, and went out of
their way to make our trip a real success. This is very rare in
this day and age of coach travel in our expericence, and all
the teachers, and the parish priest, have urgerd me to write
and thank them for their courtesy and patience with our
children! we were particulary impressed that the coach and the
toilet had been cleaned when we returned to it after our day
